Marketing Communications Specialist (One Year Term Position)

Nelligan O’Brien Payne, a multi-practice law firm in Ottawa’s downtown core, is seeking a creative individual with strong project management and interpersonal skills to cover a maternity leave for a term of one year with our firm’s marketing team.  The marketing communications specialist should have excellent communication skills, and will be responsible for the execution of various marketing and communications activities. This includes coordinating advertisements and media releases, documents for the firm’s Web site, firm collateral, assisting with the preparation of proposals and customized promotional packages and assisting at firm events as required.  For some projects, this individual will work with outside writers, graphic designers and printers. Bilingualism is an asset.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate university degree or college diploma in the area of marketing/communications. Related experience is an asset. A comprehensive knowledge of computer software and enjoyment in working in a team environment is required.
